It's Lovely to Meet you.
First and foremost, counseling is about human connection. We are all hardwired for this connection in the most profound yet simplest of ways. It's a privilege to sit with you as a fellow participant in the human experience.

Our work together is based on a safe, authentic relationship. I welcome every human to join me in this space. The atmosphere of my practice is laid-back, dynamic, gentle, candid, and playful - balanced with vulnerability and intentionality.

Education and Experience
I graduated from Gonzaga University in 2016 with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling. I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and licensure supervisor in the state of Washington. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board of Certified Counselors. I hold a mental health professional (MHP) designation through the state of Washington. I'm also a Registered Circle of Security® Parent Educator.
My practice began at the Spokane Veterans Outreach Center in Spokane, WA where I provided counseling services to combat veterans and their families. I moved to the WISe program and provided counseling and crisis services to families experiencing acute mental health needs in the Spokane and Vancouver communities before becoming a clinical supervisor for the program. I started my private practice in 2018.
In a past life, I was a high school teacher, soccer coach, and sales "expert" at a cherry stand in Pike Place Market.

Personal Life
I grew up in Seattle, WA as the oldest of five kids. I could usually be found in the local neighborhoods with my friends. Soccer was a big part of my life, as was tinkering in the garage with my dad.

I moved to Spokane to attend college and was a secondary education teacher, a staff member at the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery, and a Court Appointed Special Advocate before finally graduating as a mental health counselor.
I spend much of my time with my husband, our dog and cat, and our family and friends. I always enjoy cheering on the Portland Thorns and Timbers - a great way to keep soccer in my life with (usually) less risk of a knee injury.
It's common to find me in my kitchen trying new recipes. I'm pretty excited about the dishes I create, aside from one infamous shrimp and broccoli dish, which hailed a scathing review from an unnamed individual - "this is the worst food ever put in front of me."

I won't be quitting my day job.
